Martin is a 2013 graduate from the Law School of Charles University in Prague, where he has received his Master’s degree. Martin has gained his experience as a student in White & Case international law firm, as well as during his internship in Copenhagen at Novo Nordisk pharmaceutical company where he had been preparing and reviewing clinical trial agreements with hospitals. Martin is currently an associate at Baker McKenzie international law firm.

Martin advises multinational pharmaceutical companies on all aspects of European, Czech and Slovak pharmaceutical and medical device law and on healthcare-related compliance and competition issues. In particular, he advises on regulatory issues regarding registration, distribution and advertising of medicinal products and medical devices, as well as issues related to the sponsoring of healthcare professionals and provision of healthcare services and reimbursement thereof. He regularly assists in negotiating agreements with R&D facilities, manufacturers and distributors.

In addition, Martin is experienced in privacy and data protection, competition law and anticorruption legal regulation.
