Tom Hodbod is a marketing communication professional with seven years of diverse experience in various communication areas. He is focused on integrated communication, digital marketing, new technologies and innovation. He works as a Strategy Director at Apploud, Prague based creative agency. He manages strategic communication for BMW, MINI, Red Bull, Simply Cola, Bang & Olufsen, Airbnb.
He has also experience in new media journalism, especially in TV broadcasting segment. Tom worked at Czech TV, pubic TV broadcaster, where he has led digital strategy, prepared big interactive coverages of Olympics, elections and other big events, giving rise to New media division, which now operates all digital, mobile and social media activities.
Tom also prepared digital and social media strategy for iDnes.cz (biggest Czech online news website), TV NOVA (biggest TV station) and he was part of launch of paid sports channel O2 Sport.
Besides Tom worked for biggest international advertising agencies in the Czech Republic in past seven years as a strategic planner. (i.e. Ogilvy&Mather, VCCP Prague), where he created strategies for clients like Nestlé, L’Oreal Maybelline, Staropramen, Carling British Cider, LEGO, Heineken, Desperados, UniCredit Bank etc.
