Aleš together with economist Pavel Kohout and investment company AMISTA are running their own quantitative investment fund QUANT. In 2015, Aleš has joined Y Soft Ventures at the position of Advisory Board Member. Since 2014, he has also been an External Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Finance in the Czech Republic. Before, Aleš worked as a Chief Investment Officer at Raiffeisenbank CZ (2006 – 2015), as an Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs at the Office of the Czech Government (2004 – 2006), and also as an Economic Journalist for Hospodarske noviny (2000 – 2004). While working at Raiffeisenbank CZ Aleš was awarded as an Analyst / Economist of the year by Hospodarske noviny three times in a row. He graduated from the Finance and Monetary Policy at the University of Economics in Prague as well as from the Game Theory – Judgment and Decision Making at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He finished his executive education at University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School focusing on Asset Management.
